Gem Scan results appear as they are found
A scan no longer holds everything back until the first grade lands. Each listing shows up as a small bubble the moment eBay returns it, then visibly grows as it is identified, queued, graded, and priced. You can watch the scan fill in instead of waiting on a spinner, and open any card as soon as it has something to show.
- New
Live view into the grading agents
Deep Review now streams its work as it happens. Card identification, the front and back metric agents, the grader, and the auditor each report their status, timing, and interim findings while the review runs, so a long grade is legible rather than opaque.
- Improved
Scans spend effort where it matters
Grading now starts with a cheap screen of the criteria that most reliably rule out a PSA 10 (centering, corners, creases) and only commits the expensive high-resolution read of surface, edges, and eye appeal to cards still in contention. A PSA grade can only be capped lower as evidence accumulates, so cards already out of gem range exit early, while any borderline or low-confidence screen is escalated to a full re-read rather than dropped.
- Improved
Know how much to trust a scan
When a scan completes it now reports its own quality: average identification confidence, how many listings were resolved from the listing text versus from the images, and how many needed a fallback, with the reasons grouped.
- Improved
Baseline pricing no longer holds up grading
Market pricing is fetched alongside intake instead of ahead of it, so its lookup does not delay the first grade in a scan.
- Fixed
Quick grading can now see wear
Quick mode was sending downsampled images in which corner fraying, edge whitening, and light surface wear were not resolvable, which pushed it to predict PSA 10 far too often. It now reads full-resolution images, looks explicitly for creases and corner rounding, and caps its estimate and confidence when a surface is unreadable or only one side was photographed. Grading prompts across all modes also no longer assume modern cards are pristine by default.

- New
A place for beta feedback
Invited beta members can view approved roadmap items, add one upvote per item, and follow their feedback with status updates and replies. Beta participation is managed separately from administrator access.
- New
Optional product news
Email preferences let you opt in to product announcements or unsubscribe. Existing accounts are not automatically subscribed. Resend delivery and email replies require the operator to configure the sending domain and receiving webhook.
- New
Time-limited Pro promotions
Administrators can grant promotional Pro access for a defined number of calendar months. Expiry and revocation leave paid subscriptions untouched, and account views distinguish promotional access from billing.
- New
An admin growth workspace
Administrators can manage news drafts and feedback, beta membership, and outbound campaign plans for Reddit, Instagram, eBay ads and other channels. Campaign dates, links, budgets and manually recorded results are persisted; publishing and ad spending remain manual.
- New
See where your card prices come from
Grading reports now show the exact PriceCharting product, retrieval time, and source dates when available. Aggregated market references are distinguished from estimated played-condition prices, and missing grade prices stay unknown. Stale or mismatched pricing no longer supports a buy recommendation.
- New
Correct pricing without regrading
Use "Correct pricing product" in eBay, Gem Scanner, or Analyze reports to search for and confirm the right printing. Prices and deal calculations update without changing the visual grade, and your correction stays with the report during the current session.
- Improved
Illustration Rares matched by collector number
Illustration Rares, Special Illustration Rares, and their AR/SAR equivalents can now match automatically by exact set, collector number, card name, and language, even when the pricing product omits the rarity label. Conflicting finishes, stamps, or identity details still require review.
- Fixed
More reliable language matching
Pricing lookups now recognize standard language codes and locale labels such as ja, en-US, and ja-JP, including extra surrounding spaces. Missing or unsupported languages get clearer confirmation guidance instead of being treated as confirmed English.
- Fixed
Clearer pricing warnings
Reports show specific pricing-match issues instead of repeating a generic variant warning. Recalculating cached reports removes obsolete pricing warnings while preserving photo-quality flags and any unresolved pricing concerns.

Analyze your own cards
Upload photos from your device β or use the new smart camera β to get an instant AI grade, condition breakdown, and market value, no eBay listing required. Free accounts get 10 analyses a day; Pro is unlimited. Search for the exact card to confirm the match and sharpen pricing.
- New
Smart camera capture
On mobile, line your card up in the on-screen frame and the camera coaches you in real time β framing, focus, glare, and hold-steady β then auto-snaps the shot when it looks great. Manual shutter and photo upload are always available too.
- New
Pick your eBay region
Set your default eBay store (US, Australia, UK, Germany, and more) in account settings, and both search and Gem Scanner localize to that marketplace.
- Improved
One place to search
The search screen now leads with a single toggle β eBay, Gem Search, or Analyze β and the form adapts to your choice, with a full-screen grading workflow for each.
- Improved
A more rewarding analysis view
Custom analysis now runs in a full-screen scanner that streams each step and reveals your grade with a clean, scannable breakdown instead of a dense block of text.
- Fixed
More reliable grading
Fixed cases where Detailed and Multi-Agent grades could time out and fall back to placeholders under load β the per-metric checks are now paced so they stay fast and actually complete.
- Fixed
Analyze results fix
Fixed a crash that could blank the screen when a custom analysis finished.

- New
Full-page grading report
Grading a card now opens a full-screen report that streams progress live and lays out the complete analysis in a two-pane view β a large card image alongside grade, pricing, PSA scale, and profit scenarios. Close it and the search result collapses to a compact summary card showing the grade, deal call, and estimated value.
- New
PriceCharting is now the pricing source
Raw and PSA graded values now come from PriceChartingβs real sold-price data instead of estimates from active eBay listings, giving far more accurate market values. eBay is still shown for current live listings.
- Improved
Smarter card matching
Pricing lookups now match on the exact card number first, fixing cases where similarly named cards (like the wrong Mega Gengar print) were priced incorrectly.
- Improved
Quicker marketplace links
View on eBay and View on PriceCharting now sit right under the card title and price for one-tap access.
- Fixed
Report display fix
Fixed a case where the grading report could open to a blank screen.
