The agreement between you and Mintachu for using www.mintachu.com. Please read it with the Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your data.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Mintachu (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, or by using Mintachu without one, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Mintachu.
Account holders are asked to agree to these Terms when they sign up, and again when we make a material change. We record which version you agreed to and when. This is version 2026-10-12.
Mintachu uses AI models to estimate the grade a card might receive, to identify cards, and to show market prices and deal scores. These are estimates made from photographs. They are not grades from PSA or any other grading company, and not appraisals, authentication or financial advice.
Mintachu is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by PSA, eBay Inc., Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc., or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon and card names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify cards.
Listings come from eBay. We don't sell the cards, aren't a party to any purchase, and aren't responsible for sellers, items, shipping or returns. Your purchases are between you and the seller, under eBay's terms. Mintachu is in the eBay Partner Network: when you buy after following one of our links, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.
Linking is optional. When you link, you sign in at eBay and approve the access on eBay's consent screen. You authorize Mintachu to make eBay API requests on your behalf for the features you use. Today these are:
We act on your eBay account only when you ask, and only within the access you approved. We never buy, bid, make offers, list or edit items, message sellers, or see your eBay password or payouts. Features we add later, such as saving listings to your eBay watchlist, will each ask you to approve that access on eBay first. You can unlink at any time in Settings → eBay, or from your eBay account. Your use of eBay remains under eBay's own terms.
You keep ownership of the photos and other content you upload. You give us permission to store, copy and process them, and to send them to the service providers named in the Privacy Policy, only to provide Mintachu to you. That includes keeping saved analyses in your History, unless you turn saving off. We don't use your photos to train AI models. Only upload content you have the right to share.

We enforce fair use automatically, through daily allowances and limits on how fast requests can be made. We may suspend access that breaks these rules.
Mintachu is in early access. Features can change, move between plans, or be withdrawn, and the service can be unavailable at times. We will try to give notice of changes that matter to paying users.
The Mintachu name, site, software, designs, Professor Mint and our written content belong to us or our licensors. You may use Mintachu for your own collecting and buying decisions, including sharing an individual result with a friend. You may not copy or reuse Mintachu's content beyond that without permission. Card images and data from third-party catalogs remain their owners'.
Mintachu is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't warrant that any grade, identification, price or deal score is correct, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Mintachu is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or the cost of cards bought, sold or graded on the strength of an estimate. Our total liability for any claim about Mintachu is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
If you break these Terms or the law while using Mintachu and a third party makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy. Deleting it cancels any pass at once, and the Privacy Policy lists what is removed and what is kept. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, or that we must close by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why. Sections 3, 5, 9–12 and 15 continue to apply after an account is closed.
We may update these Terms. The date at the top changes. For a material change we tell account holders by email or in the app, and ask you to agree again before you continue. If you don't agree, you can stop using Mintachu and delete your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you have a problem, please email pokejavs@outlook.com first. Most issues can be settled within 30 days that way. Otherwise, disputes go to the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Either of us may instead bring a claim in small-claims court where it qualifies. If you live outside the US, you keep any protections your local law gives you that cannot be waived.
